Limn Fit™ is designed to place a sensor inside the socket and deliver a live readout to your phone, aimed at flagging fit-related issues before they become painful.

The Problem

It fits perfectly at the appointment, but not by the weekend.

A residual limb changes shape constantly — with activity, time of day, sweating, and even over time.

A prosthetist only gets a snapshot of the changes once — at a routine visit.

A bad fit is a big deal — causing skin injuries, device abandonment, and a destructive reduction in quality of life.

Early conversations with certified prosthetists surfaced a recurring wish: a way to get pinged automatically when a patient's fit needs attention.

Our Origin

Limn Fit™ started as PhD research at the University of Washington.

Prosthetic Fit 360, Inc. has since licensed the technology to bring it into everyday use.
